Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 500 grams of ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt to the beef. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
On a large sheet pan, layer 300 grams of tortilla chips evenly. Spoon the beef mixture over the chips.
Sprinkle 200 grams of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef and chips.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and squeeze the juice of 1 lime over the top before serving.
