In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 500 grams of chopped lamb and brown on all sides.
Add 1 diced onion, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in 200 grams of canned diced tomatoes, 1 cup of water, and 150 grams of dried apricots. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
