Cut the beef steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, black pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic powder.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the beef steak bites in a single layer and sear for about 3-4 minutes, turning to brown all sides.
While the steak is cooking, slice the zucchini into half-moons.
Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet with the steak and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the zucchini is tender.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and stir well, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Remove from heat, stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter, and serve immediately.
