Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the diced ham to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until it starts to brown slightly.
Pour in the cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.
Stir in the parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
