In a bowl, combine 0.25 cup of barbecue sauce with 1 tablespoon of aji seasoning and mix well.
Coat the chicken thighs with the barbecue mixture and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
While the chicken is marinating, prepare the slaw by combining 2 cups of shredded cabbage, 1 cup of shredded carrots, and 0.25 cup of butter lettuce in a large bowl.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper to create the dressing.
Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss to combine.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
Serve the grilled chicken with the slaw on the side.
