Crispy and tender chicken wings with homemade BBQ sauce, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

separated into drumettes and flats
Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
In a large bowl, combine the paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Add the chicken wings and toss until well coated with the dry rub.
Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius.
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
While the wings are cooking, prepare the BBQ sauce by combining ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the BBQ sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Return the coated wings to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius to caramelize the sauce.
Serve the BBQ chicken wings hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
